This is not a complaint AT ALL I’m asking from the perspective of someone who has never played a game beta or early access so this experience is completely new to me. Aka I’m asking to educate myself.
Ok, so since I’ve played EA we’ve had one major content update - the Druid class introduction. Doing some simple math in my head, if we look at all the races and classes inPHB, if the full release is based on EA content release then BG3 will fully release in about a million years.
Point being- how does this process work? Is early access purposely confined to a small subset of the game while other parts of the game (aka the plethora of unreleased classes, subclasses, races, etc) are nowhere in sight? Am I understanding that a lot of the game is being worked on/ has been developed already but will purposefully never be in early access?
