It is not so the lack of new content but blockers still in place that prevent some of her dialogues from triggering proper that bothers me, but was told some of them are working in the stress test of patch 8 when you play as the dark urge.

No, there is no new content for Minthara, what kind of new content were you hoping for?

Ah, darn. I haven’t looked at the data mines. Definitely want more reactivity, more dialogue… particularly regarding Orin after she becomes her primary concern in act 3. Maybe a short side quest of some kind since Halsin has his cure the shadowlands thing.


I’m about to start a new play through to see what I missed out on, and she was part of my main motivation lol

She's suppose to have a lot of reactivity but there are blockers in place, one major issue is when you have that dark urge moment in Act 2 its possible to get Minthara and in good ratings before that, but no. she's blocked and you get the bone man instead, absolute ridiculous and I really hope this will be fixed before the game is completely abandoned, I'm already sick of bug reporting.

Side quest is a pipe dream that will never happen at this point, she wasn't meant to ever have one.

I read there's a "hidden" scene with unrecruited Minthara in the endgame.

Seems like people are reporting mention of Minthara's daughter in her Speak With Dead dialogue.

Sounds like that's not intended and cut content resurfacing. Is that true, or can we expect that to be changed on a future hotfix, or have they canonicalized this?

New with Patch 8. Minthara does have a daughter now. She is only talking in this speak to the dead Dialog about a child.

So does Milfthara actually exist or is this another case of the new patch breaking some sort of dialogue blockers in the coding that let's her say stuff that was unreleased/cut content/from previous patches?

If we could see the patch 8 dialogue datamine/dumps, then we could better tell whether this was intended or not, but for now I strongly suspect this was cut content resurfacing.

Also, it seems they made Minthara nicer and overall more tame in how she talks to you when you recruit her.. I'm redoing her romance rn and it looks like she got the Shart treatment but I gotta see her further content ;-;

Hotfix 31 fixed the broken blockers that caused some old/legacy dialogues to resurface through speak with dead with Minthara, its not exactly anything new when it comes to the daughter dialogue.

I hate it when they tone down a character, let her be herself cowards >:(

I used the "hack" to ignore the Goblin Camp versus Druid Grove drama and head to Moonrise Towers and recruit Best Girl ASAP.
Easy if - quoting Gurex - "You really know what you're doing!"
I did not expect Minty to be THAT overpowered - she is level 6 and the rest of the part is 3 ...
From my previous experiments with taking Minthara into Act 1 I know that several oddities (e.g. attacking the rest of the party when inside the Shattered Sanctum) may be expected. This time I noticed that in the Wilderness she refuses to share camp, but goes to her office in the Shattered Sanctum.
Maybe I should go sleep in the Montain Pass area? Will test sleeping in the Underdark and/or various basements first.
