I'm planning a story, kind of alternate universe and made Silfy as an adult character:

The outline is very shortly this: Durge was evil and the grove got raided and SIlfy escaped with her brother Mattis and Rolan. Rolan took care of the two kids and they helped him against Lorroakan. When Durge came for them after they joined the resistance against Durge and their reign of terror (they took control of the Brain), Mattis got killed and Rolan badly hurt. WIth a last effort, he did use a spell to send SIlfy back in time to prevent this. She managed to kill Durge before Orin could ursurp them, by sheer luck, but was snatched and tadpoled and now has to make things right.

She will be very careful with some of the companions, because chances are, that she has not seen the ones that stayed at their best - Wyll, Karlach, Gale (I'm going by very much not resisting Durge), Jaheira and Minsc were not there, so those will be the ones, she will trust the most. The others were part of the Grove raid and therefore she is pretty suspicious.

Silfy is my favourite tiefling kid apart from Arabella and we decided in an rpg forum to try our hands on the tiefling kids as adults. And since a lot of people made Mol and Arabella already (often with great backstories), the other person decided for Ide and I for SIlfy.

Edit: classwise I think she will be an arcane trickster, since she started as a rogue canonically and probably learned a bit of magic from Rolan. Romance could be Wyll, since she already lieks him for trying to help the tieflings.

Sorry this is a Durge playthrough and she isn't the Durge?

For romance, am I correct assuming Wyll didn't kill Karlach and therefore has become horny?

P.s, the only way I know to make Karlach take part in the grove raid is to play as her... In all my other tests she must be left at camp

This was an alternate universe and time travel story. Silfy is the Tav here, after she travelled back in time and killed DUrge, before Orin could infect them and then was snatched by the Nautiloid. In the first event before the time travel, Wyll and Karlach were killed during the Grove raid, SIlfy made sure, they survived (well, Wyll, she didn't know that Karlach there until they met her)

It was a story idea that came up when people were talking about worst case scenario and going back to change it, a very common trope, that is used in storytelling (my favourite show Doctor Who used it a few times). And since there are time travel spells in DnD, this storyline was born.

Runa Nightwhisper, deep gnome assassin/gloomstalker

Runas village was raided by drow, when she was small. She and her whole village were taken as slaves. From early on she worked in the Baenre household. She didn’t see her parents for a while, but heard from a woman of her village working in the same household, that they are working the mushroom fields. At least not the mines, which would have been a death sentence.
She secretly educated herself in the library of the house, when everyone was asleep and learned a lot about history (of course through drow eyes, she found that out quickly), nature, different cultures …
A few years later, there was a slave revolt in Menzoberazzan. Runa managed to flee, sadly her parents weren’t as lucky. They were killed by Minthara of house Baenre of all things and Runa swore, she will bring down that woman.
She and other escaped slaves formed an underground group, helping other victims of drow oppression to escape and killing every drow they could. Runa learned to be stealthy and kill silently from afar during that time. But one day they were found out by the hunters from Menzoberazzan and most of them were killed. Runa was badly wounded and the drow, who did to her, a man with a whiny voice, used some kind of magic, so the wound scarred.
She managed to escape with a bugbear named Mal and a duergar named Orla. They made their way to Athkala and joined the shadow thieves there. She was mostly there for information gathering and often made sure, that drow dignitaries visiting the city, wouldn’t have a good time.
Since then, she has met a friendly drow, who serves as a priest in the temple of Oghma in the temple district. He helped her, when she was jumped by some hunters from Menzoberazzan – it seems they were still wounded by the fact, that slaves escaped their city. The drow, a man named Tarlyn, jumped in and helped her. He then took her to his temple and tended to her wounds. He explained, that he himself escaped Ust Natha as a very young man, because he hated it there. He came to the surface and was drawn to Oghma, the god of knowledge and became a priest. Runa told him her story and thus a friendship started. Given, that her current whereabouts are known to her enemies now, she decided to leave and Tarlyn helped her settle in in Baldurs Gate. They stayed in contact via letters and the occasional visit.
In BG, Runa decided to join the Flaming Fist. She became friends wit ha gnome named Devella, who was very annoyed with her partner, an oliphant named Valeria. Runa herself was in a special branch for information gathering and archery, but often met up with Devella. She was the only one, who believed Devella when she voiced her theory about a Bhaal cult reforming and promised to look into it. During her investigation, she crossed path with a group of strange people. They seemed totally on edge and asked for shelter. Runa helped them find a save space and found out, that one of their group, a halfling, was bitten by a werewolf. They were searching for her now and they need to find shelter somewhere. She brought them to the Oghma temple, the only shelter, she knew. Through Tarlyn she was known there and became a convert recently and they allowed the refugees to stay there.
While investigating the Bhaal cult, she got attacked by people that just appeared out of nowhere and vanished again after. She was badly wounded and only managed with her last strength to drag herself to the Oghma temple. They said, that she was dying from a poison, they don’t know and that there was not much they could do, but making her passing easier. The halfling. she saved, was still there and offered to bite her – werewolves have special healing powers and this would be the only chance she had. She agreed and the halfling changed before her eyes and bite her. She was amazed that it worked, but the transformation process was painful.
She stayed a few days in the temple and learned from the halfling how to control her powers. Devella visited her a few times and kept her updated on the Bhaal cult investigation, which suddenly only lead to dead ends. It was as if someone erased every trace of it.
Shortly after her recovery and being back at work, she realised, that some members of the Fist were behaving strangely. They seem to listen more to that unwashed upstart Gortash than their own superiors. It started after Duke Ravenguard went away for some mission. She turned her attention to this and investigated, but before she could find out too much, she was snatched one evening and awoke in the Nautiloid.

She will mercilessly kill Minthara, her parents killer, and Nere too, he was the one, who gave her the scar. He doesn’t even remember her or the incident, but she does. She would have been able to get the scar removed, Tarlyn offered to do that, but she wanted a reminder of it. She might be inclined to get it removed after the events of the game, since she learned to make peace with the past.
Keeping Barcus save, is her highest priority. He is like a lamb among sheeps and she feels bad for him.
It was Wulbren, who made her realise, that hatred is a bad thing. She was totally with him up to the point, when he wanted to kill a whole group of people for reasons, that weren’t even true. So she listened to Barcus and investigated the factory, learning that the Gondians were as much slaves, as she was.
