Just wanted to say great job on the game, it's amazing! I have a suggestion to make it even better for people like me. I'm visually impaired and have trouble seeing interactive objects unless I mouse over them. You can already highlight characters, so could you do something similar for objects? Pillars of Eternity had a great feature where you could keep interactions highlighted all the time. Thanks a lot!!
Are you on console ? On PC the ALT button highlights the most important items. Not everythin. Crates and barrels won't be, but necklaces lying on a table or weapons will, for the most part.
On the Playstation the highlight option like ldo58 mentioned is to HOLD the right toggle stick down (that shows dead bodies and other loot) that is "Show World Information" Alternatively you can HOLD the X button (that opens a menu of items which are around your character which you can then select other options to Loot or Examine, it doesn't let you send to camp through this way though), this is "Active Search".
I do agree that more accessibility improvements would make the game more user friendly for a larger user base!
