Whatever direction they are taking, I hope they can really find the time to finish the game and make it live up to the original idea. While I still think that what I call my definitive playthrough of BG3 is perfectly unperfect, I would have loved to give Karlach a gondian heart, explore the Tourmaline Depths and see more of the Upper City. Things that are unlikely to ever happen now.
This is a very good point, with which I also agree.
For me, I have generally not much interest in Larian's games because I find TB combat to be too boring and tedious. And I especially don't have an interest in a sci-fi game. So, I hope the other of their two projects is another fantasy RPG, but, and this will be critical for me, a fantasy RPG that does NOT use their Divinity setting. I simply cannot stand the Divinity setting.
