🕷️ Concept: Minthara – The Shadows of Menzoberranzan (Prequel DLC Idea)
Friends, followers, and fans of the best game ever made Baldur’s Gate 3.
I know Larian has officially stated they won’t be working on any DLC or expansions for BG3.
But maybe… it’s time for the modding community to take the torch.
My idea is simple: a Minthara-focused prequel DLC, set roughly 80 years before the events of BG3, when she was still young around twenty, hardened by life in Menzoberranzan.
The story would dive into her past: the ruthless structure of drow society, the choices that shaped her loyalty, and the shadows that made her who she became.
Of course, her original voice Emma Gregory would be perfect to return as Minthara.
And if possible, Amelia Tyler as the narrator, to give that authentic BG3 feel.
I also imagine Jaheira making a subtle appearance — not as a companion, but as part of the world’s background. She once clashed with the drow, and her presence would add depth and continuity.
I know there are many amazing mods already thank you to everyone who creates them.
I’d also love to see the Czech translation officially approved for consoles (so far it’s only on PC).🇨🇿
