Finally found some time to hunker down and figure out just why, exactly, I was constantly having to reset my Larian passwords.
Turns out Larian's using entirely different account systems for its website, its forums, and its store, all of which are saved (in a browser) under the label "Larian.com," so every time I reset the password for one account, it winds up breaking the passwords for the other two.
Not really a huge issue for me as I don't exactly visit often, but it is the kind of thing that'll keep from from jumping into the forums to say something when I otherwise might (okay, okay, no great loss there) or -- as was nearly the case today -- not buying something I specifically came to the webstore to buy.
