First, I (for technical reasons) started to play late, so I apologyze if I'm out of time with the question.
I saw that plenty of people complained about this problem: lot of times romance scenes don't trigger and there are no indications from the game about why.
Especially hard romance, like Astarion's one, can be definetly lost, even if you have high approval and made all the right choices in Act 1.
I made a little research and found that it's caused by the possibility to freely explore the areas VS very strick triggers you have to activate in order. Forgive me, but... this is quite absurd: how can I know that, if I decide to have a little tour of the Towers and talk to someone, before going on with other quests, I could loose the love story I spent 60 hrs of game to obtain? Or I could not receive an important quest, just cause I entered a building from the wrong side (like for Raphael)?
You go crazy to find what you did wrong, even thinking of a bug, just to know it's a "technical matter" and you can only load previous games, loosing hours of effords.
Why giving me the possibility to explore as I want, then? At least, why don't give me some indications about the order of the missions (like a character telling me "we have to do this NOW" or something)?
I know the studio is on other projects now, but is there still any possibility to adjust this thing?

It's REALLY not the top when you end begging Chat GPT "what should I do???" to solve a game. xD

I don't have much experience with many different playthroughs, but since I felt like being on the clock due to the whole Ceremorph dilemma, I was a bit skimpy with Long Rests at first. These are important to advance some parts of the story, though.
