I've had this going on for quite some time. It's very annoying. I'm moving the camera to look around and suddenly the focused character runs to the highlighted spot without me clicking. Also in battle, which can be quite lethal.
I'm ruling out a mouse problem because I olny have these phantom clicks in BG3.
I do have mods, so I assume filing a bug report with Larian would not be very helpful, but I 'm curious if someone else has (had) this problem. (And knows of a solution)
It seems erratic, although it seems to occur more often when I'm also holding the <alt> key to look for loot.
