So, I've tried searching for answers, but clearly I'm useless at finding information.
But I'm wondering if the physical game edition (for PC) that can be bought from the Larian shop would require internet to install. It only says: "Game Disc: CD key and installer." in the information, and I'm not really sure what that means really. Is the game on the disc, and will it be installed and playable without needing downloads?
Now, I know that there are downloads and patches and all that, but being the "catastrophizer" that I am, I don't want to lose access to this game in the future. Meaning I want a version of it that I can own for real and play in the future too (like I can with my old BG games), even if that is an older non updated version of the game.
So, back to the question. Is the game on the PC game disk, or is it just an installer that needs to download the game from the internet?
