Most of the fights in the game can be completely skipped.
It's to the point that I was almost resenting playing as a bard in one of my playthroughs, precisely because diplomacy/deception/intimidation was making me resolve most situations somewhat "peacefully" and unlike you I ENJOY dealing with the combat in the game.
