Re: New difficulty level Xenonian Yesterday at 04:42 PM
To me this makes no sense when you can already choose custom mode and configurate difficulty to your liking, besides there isn't going to be this kind of update coming to the game anymore unless you kickstart a fan made mod project.

New difficulty level zac72 Yesterday at 12:38 PM
Hi,

How do you see potential of having some new difficulty level,

somewhere in between tactician & honor mode,

where you would - lose some amount of experience - with every saved game reload?

Does this make some sense, or not at all smile

Best regards,
Zac

Re: Boots and Gloves MarvelS 01/06/26 11:12 PM
I always thought the armor system for boots and gloves was a bit awkward too, especially when you find a cool magical item and then realize your class can't use it because it's classified as medium or heavy. In my home games, we just handwave that a bit and go for what fits the story rather than the strict mechanics, because it can really kill the excitement when loot becomes useless for half the party.

Re: (spoiler) Help, Amulet of Bhaal vanished jsiwbeiso 01/06/26 06:25 PM
Okay so I found everything. The amulet of bhaal was lying on the floor somewhere. I want to say I looked pretty thoroughly moving around and hitting x to search the area. I did fast travel back to wyrm’s crossing and then back to the murder tribunal. Maybe that “reset” something. Either that, or I was blind the first round. Either way I’m happy to continue the game.

About the stuff that I send to camp when exploring; I found it all in my box at the camp in Wyrm’s crossing, the box in lower city remains empty. I thought those boxes were interchangeable but I guess I’m mistaken

Re: (spoiler) Help, Amulet of Bhaal vanished jsiwbeiso 01/06/26 06:06 PM
Have you ever found a solution? I’m in exact same situation except I don’t know for certain I ever had it in the first place. I defeated Sarevok but might have knocked him out instead of killing him. When I go back to the murder tribunal the question marker is still there but all the bodies are gone (everywhere else in the game bodies are still there).

I checked the box on my camp, and it had a lot of items missing. I dump a shit load there, so perhaps amulet of behaal too.

Really bumped out, this is my first play through 150 hours in and it seems like I can’t finish the story now??

Yes, unfortunately you said it.

Re: My feedback and my hopes for BG3 Thomas_Louis 01/06/26 02:13 PM
Yeah, I also think they have moved on.

I still think that it is a bad decision for Hasbro, for Larian, and for players. Maybe one day they'll sit around a table and go back.

I hope.

I'm pretty sure the problem with Karlach isn't "Heat shedding"

It's that the Infernal Engine only works at a high temperature.

Thus being in the mortal plane, it is going to fail due to being too cold. While being in Avernus, it will be hot enough to function fine.

In D&D cosmology, Avernus is a layer of the Nine Hells which are part of the Outer Planes. These places don't necessarily follow physical laws, as the prime material plane/mortal plane does. Instead, they are shaped by the beliefs of mortals, the powers of the gods that live there and the other inhabitants, like fiends, celestials and so on. You have chasms of infinite depths, places where it's raining blood and deserts that drain your colours. I also wouldn't be surprised, if the overheating heart wasn't a flaw, but deliberate design by Zariel to secure her soldiers' loyalty. That said, I still think it would have been great to find Stygian or Canian (cold layers of the Nine Hells) ice somewhere and have Dammon and the Gondians finish the job.

Re: Sleep/Resting mechanic Tav'ith'sava 01/06/26 12:16 PM
I do see how that would add an interesting dynamic. Like, suddenly the cheese is missing and the person who's in the group for being a thief stood watch. Some characters will be more reliable than others, but not necessarily keen to watch the watchers every night.

Re: So why play Divinity ? Halycon Styxland 01/06/26 10:08 AM
The question is most likely not if they can or cant, but if they want to.

Re: So why play Divinity ? Soccer 01/06/26 07:45 AM
Personally, for introduction to divinity games, I recommend playing a Divine Divinity (Divinity : Sword of lies). It is a classic game, big world, a lot of fun quests and good story.

Divinity : Original Sin 2 is an obvious choice, best game in divinity series so far. If Larian would restore all cut content/characters for it in some patch, I will say it a perfect game. After all, if CD Projekt Red is making a DLC for 11 year old The Witcher game, while making a new one, which also is increasing hype for it, why Larian can't do the same?

Re: Are we going to see an Imp companion? Soccer 01/06/26 07:29 AM
Maybe, developers should make a cute baby imp companion, with a name something like GrogGrogu? Lady players will love it and it will allow Larian to sell a lot of merchandise? Baby goblin will also work.
