Hey there. I know some of the team may not like this request, but I WILL try to be reasonable with it, so hope Larian genuinely considers it.

I would like to see the Toolkit released when EA starts. Locked or not, your call. I am not requesting Larian support modders during EA. WHile there was drama regarding mod support in BG3, I think expecting you to support mods AND develop the game is too much to ask for and it would be fair for you to flat-out tell us the TK is unsupported when you release it.

I am asking for this for two reasons: 1) I have plans for Divinity and already have Osiris code lined up, and 2) Releasing the TK right off the bat would allow modders to utilize Osiris instead of having to rely on Script Extender or a similar Osiris-like version of it, which would prevent a split among modders once Divinity is released. In the long run I think having the TK available early on, even unsupported, would mean a less fragmented community and less work for Larian if you choose to officially support modding later.

Me, I just like to create. Support me or not, I am happy the TK exists. Thanks for reading, and if you do release it early, expect to see me jump in!

Is a Linux PC, a viable concept with Steam & BG3?

I get the Auntie Ethyl's hair choice popup, and then Marina starts her post-fight yapping. Both are up at the same time. I decide to do the Marina dialog first, click on one of the choices, crash to desktop.
