Interested in trying out Divinity II - Flames of Vengeance?

Inscriptions are now open for on site play tests for Divinity II - Flames of Vengeance.
If you live in the neighbourhood of Gent (Belgium) and want to spend an 8-hour-session trying out the next installment in the Divinity universe, please read more:

We are conducting invitation only play tests. If you live in the neighbourhood of Gent and want to spend some hours trying out our next RPG, please send an email to playtest@larian.com. Please include what days you think you might be available in April 2010. These are gameplay and focus tests, so you will be sent a small questionnaire. This will allow us to establish what type of gamer you are and fit you in the right group of players.

Please take into account that you will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement (also known as a non disclosure agreement).

You will not receive any compensation for participating in these tests, but you might enjoy the experience as we think you might have fun.

You know, in this era of modern technology we live in(high speed internet, digital downloads, secure servers, etc.), it would seem like a much larger, or diverse might be a better adjective, audience could be reached to beta/play test a game. I understand the desire for a controlled environment, I'm just suggesting. That being said...for those that live in the area- YOU LUCKY DEVILS!
They probably dont want leaks of footage and info.
Lucky people I sadly dont live in the Area.
Oh come on, Manchester is only a stone's throw away smile

We don't expect you to debug code or anything smile

Playtests are mainly for us to know if something is fun/easy/hard/repetitive/...

Another example: We already know how to solve every quest and puzzle coz we designed them.
It takes a new set of eyes, someone who doesn't know the solution to tell us if the puzzle is too easy or too hard.

If we find out that none of the playtesters know where to go after a certain part of the story, we know we have to add small hints to make it clearer.

O, so If I wish, I can come to the Larian Studio's for playtesting? biggrin
That would be fantastic, a dream!

How? When? Must I write an email to Larian Studios?
Are all the conversations in English or can I speak also in Dutch when I mail Larian and when I come for playtesting? wink
Jorlen.
I say you take this chance to test the new addon.

@Greever I do hope the puzzles arn't to easy!
Just follow the instructions in the original post smile

And yes, the one reading those emails understands Dutch.
'The one' is me, and yes, my Dutch is pretty much ok evil

I can confirm that! :hihi:
Thanks a lot for the answer lynn wink

I make a plan to be a whole new tester hihi :hihi:

Regards,
Joram, the-almost-testing-man delight
I like to have my "alone time" when playing a game, haha. I'd probably feel weird knowing people are going to be reviewing my gameplay.
