Are there any spells that work on the insane skeletons or the realy hard insane skeletons?? Ta
Posted By: Carrie Re: Insane skeletons - 20/06/03 04:34 PM
Try elemental hail, metersrike doesn't work very well on them.
I used my Singing Blade - i found swords worked the best...
They are hard sucker though! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Well, it doesn't really mater, as long as it has some good stats on it. My best sword was the singing balde, but my sword of choas was good too. Your sword might be just as good...

The signing sword can be found if you kill pedro for the tingalf/stolen goods quest. Hes in the ars magicana sewers.
They are though becouse they use fire attacks <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> (iirc) So upgrade your res can be handy. Or use some restoration potions when nessessary.

I just didn't like that it took getting to level 24 to have elemental hail/strike.

That depends...
I am level 7 on my current game, and i found a spell book of it in the the Merchants Guild library...
Posted By: Ezzy Re: Insane skeletons - 20/06/03 05:06 PM
neva seen that book dose it tell u were to get it?
Posted By: Carrie Re: Insane skeletons - 20/06/03 05:08 PM
No, it is a spell book - lets you achive the skill without spending the piont.
I know you have had to restore maria's reputation first, then you get access to the Merchant's Guild - and Trevor gives you a key to the library...

Hell Spikes and Deadly Disks do physical damage, so can not be resisted.

There is no way to rescue Dorian.

I turned Dorian in as well for the better experience points (since he gets caught either way), not realizing at the time there was a reputation bonus for no doing so. Oh well....

The Romeo and Juliet house remains empty.

Ahh the Romeo and Juliet house, the first time i ever played that area.....a girl approached me and asked me something. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />...that was a long time ago. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />..and before tha patch.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" />.. so all this typing is probably moot! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

I just recently got to this part of the game... and Hellspikes is too funny. I try and run around and get as many of them bunched up at one time as I can, 30 is about as many as I can get to stay in one spot (running circles). Then I just bust em up with a lot of hellspikes, they all die in 1/2-3/4s bar of mana, I hit my restoration potion and go on... I sure wish there were more of these. I do the samething outside with the lizard hordes. I've found Hellspikes to be slightly less dmg than elemental hail, but less mana as well. I can get the Hellspikes to hit more creaters at once though, ends up killing them all faster... and you are 100% sure that it will kill anything you hit with them since they are unresistable. Just running around the Dark Forest at level 28... look up and im level 33.
