I have heard of killing him early[for the sword! of course.]I think you have to wait until you get the quest from him to tell the healers there is a plague and need a escort. I tried to kill Otto before, I got fried... tried to kill the king brat jANUS too, it wouldn't let me...

Could be due to the fact that those two may need to do something further on in the game important to the plot...not sure though at this stage seeing i havent finished yet or how far through the game you are

I killed him yesterday for the 1st time in my 5 times through. Just freeze him, and then attack with a bow or meteorstrike level 2, and bring 3 potions of mana.

Hehe, who am I to talk? I killed that knight that gives you the little boy quest. The first time I went through the game I killed him before I realized he gave a quest, because I was pissed off at the game for making the NPCs look cooler than myself. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" /> Second time around I got smarter and killed him after he taught me the bless skill. Blahahaha! Yup, he's fairly tough too. I gave him the axe back and then shot at him with my bow as he was heading up the ladder. They all turn and mob you! Killing Seth or any other knight makes you evil, but doesn't drop your reputation as far as I know. They're warriors, and I guess you can look at it as challenging them to a duel. You could die, too. With a couple of Freeze spells on the fly during the intense melee action. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" />Battle Axe up close and personal with luck delivered the killing blow giveing me the exp. I grabed the sword and gained one level to move me to level 8. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />Then in a split second without pauseing, (pauseing messes up commands) I barreled out through the wooden gates and activated my pyramid. Puff I was gone, back safely into an abandoned house near a bed sleeping away. Whoa, really! What stat requirements did it have? I couldn't use Slasher for a long time because of the 60 strength requirement, but I assume the blade has either 40 or 35 strength requirement?
