Great game, am enjoying every minute of playing. By far my favorite rpg.

Now my question:

I've combed every square inch of this house (chez chanelle). I've looked for buttons and switches on the walls, tried hitting the potions, pictures, candles etc. How can I get in!

There are two hidden passages in her house, in fact. But none of them can be reached from her house. Keep playing and you may find a way to get there in a different part of Aleroth.

When you gain access to crow nest, you can go to the asylum ; there you can gain access to two teleporters, each one leading to a different hidden room in Chanelle's house.
