And I was hoping for a "brave sir Robin runs away" skill.

Would love to see some Monty phyton/ bellengar style songs in the game.
I'm really sad about this.
So is probably David

Can't you do some sleight of hand and just change the numbers ?
No one will know, I'm sure... laugh
I voted for summoning master.

Honestly, I might have been convinced to vote for something else if they had provided more detailed explanations of each class. Even the limited descriptions that were originally provided were not easy to find when it came time to vote.

So I think that from job title alone, summoning master sounds pretty cool.

As another theory, shapeshifting was a pretty awesome mechanic in Breath of Fire RPGs and summoning is a pretty awesome mechanic in Final Fantasy, so perhaps we've all been overwhelmed by a faction of JRPG lovers.
Why OHHH why do people keep thinking Shapeshifting is something else entirely? They described it already it REALLY isn't anything that lasts more then one turn (as cool as that would be).

I am frankly REALLY glad Bard lost if only because I felt it was a low move to tell people to vote for it. Especially after Shapeshifting won. It makes the vote feel cheap and unfair.

Look Larian Studios I know it was a joke but fanbases can actually take you seriously and vote for something JUST because you told them to. When you put a vote out there and people paid money just to get the vote...

It feels rather dishonest to get a team of fans to vote for what you tell them to do, thus illegitimize the entire vote.
I'm sad Alchemist, Trap Master and Unarmed Combatant didn't get more votes. frown
I actually hope they add them via patches!
Crisis was adverted, I won't have to sing...ever
I can't believe more people didn't vote to turn the forum into a thread rpg network and just call that D:OS2.
Why is that hard to believe friend? smile
I just read someone's wondering why bards are in RPGs.. there's a lesson hidden there about voting, but this is not the medium to discuss it.

Someone who knows not the joy of it!
Hey Larian, if you want bards, do them anyway! Democracy is for fools..

Yep, remember the results of Dragon Commander. Most prefered tyrany !
Ok, unarmed combatant didn't make it, but please Larian, I'd love to see some improvements on unarmed combat like some objects, gloves or this fist puncher thing, or maybe kicking with animation. Not an own skill tree but something more we can do if we get unarmed?
They all look interesting and fun to play. I made fun in the past of several classes, but in reality Larian should implement them all, at least in the future. Yes, even Bards have a place in Divinity...
I'm really surprised Alchemist didn't get more votes. I guess people want to shy away from crafting type builds? (Which I thought Witcher 3 might have changed.)
I was hoping for unarmed combatant. Sounded less like a monk and more like a wrestler which seemed cool. Was not that interested in bard or summoner. There are already summons in the game which will now probably be moved over to the summon master. And bard sounded like it was just going to be a buff/debuff bot which I don't find that fun either. Alchemist or trap master sounded interesting as well.
Beware of the evil Alchemist!

What voting are you guys talking about it?

The skill tree stretch goal votes (you may have missed a couple of Kickstarter updates). In the Vault, under 'D:OS 2 Kickstarter' there is a 'Vote On Polls' section (far right in the menu).
