Goblin happy! laugh
Took time, now here. Very nice. Goblin prefered smoke signals, but ok. Can read too. Biiig tribute for Larian next time, bring fat juicy hoomans for everyone. Very tasty.

Spirits ask if this means editor next, or if console peasants patches first, editor for everyone after. Spirits have me say if latter, you no get hooman tribute. Eat alone.
Spirits also ask who Gwythyr be. No voodoo doll for it yet. Very bad. Give name, carve doll, much better. Make nice hair for it, no worry. Very pretty.
no skill or status fixes?
Blind, taunt still broken for example?
Blind was fixed in a previous patch. Enemy doesn't know what to do. It is true that this is not ideal or the design we desired but it's hard to change it without messing up existing savegames.

Taunt was never broken afaik. When you are taunting, you have a much higher chance of being attacked. We don't really have an aggro system the way you'd expect us to, so it's the chance of being attacked that is higher, this doesn't necessarily mean _everyone_ will attack you. Also, smarter enemies are harder to taunt.

So if you have more info, please tell us smile
I thought taunted enemies would ONLY target the one who taunts them.
As for blind it has the effect you mention on enemies but no effect whatsoever on the players' party. I remember blind working properly in the original divinity OS
I hope that the patch will appear on gog soon too. laugh

It will wink
I'm no goblin, I guess (but who knows?), but spirits told me there was a second update shortly after the Patch. It was suspected to be the long desired Editor. Can't be, I suppose it would come as a separate download again. But a herald of things to come?

And are there more updates planned, or would there be in case some things still left to fix?

Thank you for this one!

Is it ver.113.775 or ver.113.777? The title of this thread and the version described in the body/in game is a different number.

Am still not at home, so cannot check, but man, if both are out? Wiiiiiii, lol

The Editor.pak has been updated. But no Editor in sight.
No fix for Linux crash on startup with mesa drivers? Is it planned? We saw no official information about the issue for 3 months.
We will keep working on improving DOSEE. The bugs that we can see that are remaining are few, and improvements are sometimes so radical that we should keep them for DOS2. However, we do aim to update DOSEE when necessary.

MESA drivers are not supported. We chose to only support the official nVidia and AMD drivers.

DOS2 as well ? Because I pledged seeing Linux support without a thought that someone can choose not to support mesa drivers, especially AMD one, which is rapidly becomes mainstream.

PS. Mesa exposes OpenGL 4.1 according https://mesamatrix.net/ Have you used > 4.1 functions and we can just to wait them to be implemented?

It is a little early to determine driver support for D:OS 2, since platform support has yet to be announced, besides Windows. When that decision is made, if applicable, presumably the popularity and stability, etc, of the mesa drivers at the time would influence whether support would be added.

From the Kickstarter FAQ:
Quote
Right now, we're focusing on Windows only. Additional platforms may be announced in the future.

Believe us, it's not that we're not interested in producing a version for Mac/Linux/Console, it's just that we want to get the gameplay and world fleshed out in all the detail that it needs first. Once we have the game fully worked out, we'll start looking at porting it to other platforms. That’s not something that’ll happen during the Kickstarter or indeed this year.

But - and it’s an important but - we do have most things in place to support several other platforms, since we are starting work from the Divinity: Original Sin- Enhanced Edition engine. We just don’t want to make any promises yet.
I Still can't attach Headless Nick to Arhu's Robot to give him a new body/have a new party member!

Boohoo.

Was this promised change made? I don't see it in the patch notes.

Also, what about all of the weapon-based skill tooltip bugs?
Based on the patch note, I assume the bug where the teller of secret has no skill book to sell the first time you meet is still not fixed?

Do you intend to fix it?
So, still no patches to issues that were apparently around before enhanced edition like coop not seeing correct health or loading up without talents/skills. Entering last area, the tavern, you lose the ability to use alt to search objects. Enemies still take their turn and just stand there, making you wait for 10-15 seconds or more.

Checking a new game, it looks like the fix for special arrow damage made it into this update, and Ricochet is getting the boosted damage shown in the tooltip.

It is fixed in new games. The fix can not safely be applied to existing saves.

Shouldn't this be added to the "full list of changes" given in the patch notes, then?
Which of the fixes are only available if you start a new game? The only thing I've seen is:

this is a joke.
No correction on the twin dungeon quest, I still can't place two f*ù$: amulets on some dumb pedestral. I mean comon ... it looks like an action that you could do in Zelda some twenty years ago ... and yes I know that if I start a new game I'll be able to do it. But who would like to redo the beginning of the game in the broken max difficulty ?

I had enough bugs with this game and blood bowl 2 this year. Won't buy any future FOCUS game ever.
Okay, so this seems notable: My initial testing with the new patch shows that damage is now roughly consistent with tooltips for at *least* a few buffs, special arrows, and weapon skills (I tested with Oath of Desecration, Bow skill, Melee Power Stance, Ranged Power Stance, Stunning Arrows, Lacerate, Crippling Blow). This means that the optimal builds are quite different after this patch (since this can double the pre-patch damage output of a number of builds). Oddly none of these changes appear to be in the patch notes, though Raze confirmed that they're there.

Awesome to have the tooltips represent what the abilities actually do now, at least with testing so far. smile
Do you mean the damage was modified, or do you mean the tooltips were?

The damage was modified, significantly. As an example, a Rage/Melee Power Stance/Oath of Desecration Crippling Blow from a level 12 character that did about 400 damage before the patch (actual, not tooltip) is now doing about 900 (actual, not tooltip). That's a pretty significant difference.

Prior to the patch, various damage boosting abilities (like the Bow skill, power stances, Oath of Desecration, etc) were not affecting weapon-damage-based skills or special arrows (tooltip numbers did not match with the actual damage done). Now it appears that they do (at least, with the abilities I tested).
Ok thanks.

I don't know if the Bow skill does improves the marksmen skills damage yet, but I'm quite sure the crossbow skill does not (I've not seen any crit yet, spamming Ricochet).
I've tested Ranged Power Stance and the Bow Ability with Ricochet and Fire Arrows.

Bow ability seems to enhance Fire Arrows (and I guess all special arrows then).
Ranged Power Stance does not seem to enhance Fire Arrows (8-12 expected with the buff, from 6-10, with 7 and 13 tolerated due to rounding, 6 found).

Both Bow Ability and Ranged Power Stance seem to enhance Ricochet (28 damage done with the starter bow, 2 in bow ability and power stance activated), which never crits.
Hence, Crossbow Ability probably doesn't enhance marksman skills.
Still no fix for the "only fire wands/earth staves" bug on PS4?
I got the game from gog.
Is it correct that the patch is from 2.0.104.737 to 2.0.103.775?
Normally numbers get bigger, not smaller.

AFAIK that should have been fixed in the first update.

Does this work with existing games or just new ones?

2.0.113.775, rather than 103
Someone replied before, but then apparently deleted it.

Existing saves, as well.
I am also having the bug where I can progress, where rooms at the end of time are not unlocking.

Steam shows current with patch 2.0.113.775, yet this thread states that 113.777 is the latest patch..

I am missing something? I have not found a downloadable patch to install.

You have the latest version.

Is the homestead still under attack? If so, that has to be ended before more portals will open.

Did you enter the last portal opened, get a conversation with either Astarte or the demon and return to the main section of the homestead through the portal (with a main character in the lead)?
If a portal is active but does not have a marker on the map, it means it is not completely open yet, and needs to be finished before the next portal can be opened.

Where is Zixzax? If he is beside the statue, then check the last opened elemental portal, or talk to the statue, if you can. If he isn't by the weaver, run around the homstead looking for him (keep an eye on the mini-map for green dots).
Yay new patch, but still unplayable.

Unfortunately, the Random game lock-ups on Macs with old Nvidia cards is an OSX issue, and must be fixed by Apple. They have not provided any feedback about this specifically, but the next OSX update is primarily focused on fixes.
As you stated...once the attack on homeworld ended, all of a sudden portals started opening...

thanks!

My brother has a MBP affected by this issue, and noticed that the latest OSX El Capitan update he'd installed includes NVidia driver updates*, so tried DOS:EE again, and was able to play 'normally' - in inverted commas because he hasn't been able to play at all, so just wandered around the first level and killed some skeletons, and was able to do this and quit the game without experiencing a lockup.

Perhaps others could test more thoroughly and report if it is really fixed?
