I'm searching everywhere for thread, and have none.
I barely managed to get a needle and once I used my previous one, it was destroyed in the process.

Is there an easy way to find needles, thread and so on?

One of the big flaws with Larian's crafting system is that the largest source of ingredients is from random containers or NPC inventories.


Thread can be made by combining two Hair, or one hair and a spinning wheel.
Cloth scraps are... bed linen and a cutting tool.
Leather scraps are animal hide and a cutting tool.

Otherwise I think you'll need to look into a Crafting Overhaul mod.

I wanted to try the unmodded adventure, but well, yeah, crafting as it is is not really interesting in anyway.
Well... No biggie, I'm finding sufficiently armor I guess...

I were so exited during the 1st act of the game when I decided to do a playthrough without trading. only loot from enemies and craft. and I were using recipes like "craft two-hander from tongs and etc." to keep my gear "up-to-date"

but later I've found that there are so much drops, that there is no need to craft weapons or armor...ever.

Indeed the craft is really underwhelming in this one.
Still.
I'm level 12 now and I found 2 hair from all the loot and vendor I saw...
I prefered the craft in the first one, there was a point to craft each new level, here... meh.
