I love this Rule its the only reason to ever pick Human the "Variant Rule" Where you only pick Two stats to get +1 and you get one feat. And will the other variant rule be installed at level 4 where u can choose a feat instead of stat increase
You can already get a feat at level 4 instead of an ASI.
Not all feats are implemented yet though.
I also love Variant Human and I hope they added it. Feat on 1st level opens up so much possibilities! It's my most played race in tabletop DnD. Well Vumans and Half-orcs smile
Honestly the variant human is needed.

The only reason it's "variant" is because feats are "variant", because it's a more complex rule. But the point of humans is to be versatile, so having access to a choice of feats makes them very interesting.
I was actually quite surprised by how many feats are implemented so far!

But yes, I would like to see vumans. As pointed out, in 5e feats are an optional rule, so they had to make vumans optional. It should be very easy to implement them though.

Well they aren't "implemented", many of them aren't working as explained.
Human variant is great. Almost too great.
Hi guys !
I made a Variant Human mod for Baldur's Gate 3. Due to modding limitations, I had to use some tricks to make it possible but it works !
You can find it here: Variant Human

Let me know if you find any bugs wink
YES PLEASE ADD IT!!!!!
Aside from BG3, I've never used the "+1 to all stats" human creation method, only the variant one. That Feat is so much more valuable to me than extra stats.

I agree with that. Not only arguably overpowered. It is a radical departure with the philosophy of humans as well rounded generalists, propelling them into the best specialists in any field. Humans are already the most popular race choice in early access, and this will be a case of when more choices in practice becomes less choices because of perceived imbalance.
+1 for the Variant Human.

Adding +1 to all Abilities is boring and odd in my opinion, though I guess it could be left there as an option (giving Humans two options in all).

I think many players choose a race for the +2 to an Ability and the colorful perks.
For Humans, the starting Feat becomes its colorful perk, with also 1 Skill and +1 +1 to Abilities (or +2 to one Ability). The purpose is to make the Human more fun to play and generate more variety.
