Looks like a bug, because in the past we had Shadowheart standing in front of the crypt.

Steps to replicate:

1. Make custom party of 4
2. Release Shadowheart - she says she'll take it from there on her own (which is ok, we're already 5, including Lae'zel)
3. Do prologue stuff
4. End up on the beach
5. Result: no Shadowheart nowhere to be found
Question: Did you manage to reach Druid groove yet? smile

No, was just a test if the same feature that was available in D:OS2 still works and how such a party would perform.

She's there?
Should be laugh
And when you find her you will another great way to experience the EA.
Most people do not see enough variants of decisionmaking outcome by playing differently each time.
Thereby missing tons of pages of new textlines because different outcomes of decisionmaking and more.

People say they played EA and they only mean one time.
One time EA is like only reading headlines only in a Newspaper.
You will never know what really is the news about.

Larian is really making a ton of work for us to experience.
Kudos
That many possibilities is one reason why its only a Party of 4 and that we need to decide which NPCs we are leaving behind at end of Act1.
Else the possibilities would have too many branches.
Try to envision the "Loki" Series on Disney+ with the Multiverse. That might help to understand what kind of product Larian is making here.
A truly magnificient work of possibilities.
Yes, she is there, now she is in camp.

I mean, she's a capable cleric, but my optimized cleric is even better, haha.

The difference is, that if playing through a video game once does NOT give you enough understanding to feel like you know the story and understand what is going on, then it is an abject failure of game design.

Other play throughs and different branches can definitely add to understanding and a feeling of depth etc., but if multiple play throughs and seeing multiple different branches are *Required* for the game to make coherent sense, then it will have failed, utterly, and needs to be re-thought.
