Not sure if I saw this correctly, but during the fight at the grove gate, it looked like Aradin and crew healed each other by attack a couple times. Once, it looked like one hit another and that other as healed. The second time, it looked like one of them threw something (a healing potion?) at another and then that other was healed.

Did I see that correctly?

Yes.

You can throw healing potions to heal at range.
Even better : if you target the ground you can create a healing surface. This allow you (and your ennemies) to create a healing AOE that will heal anyone that is standing/walking on it.

Ridiculous isn't it ?

I think that the damages are the damages to the potion (the glass).

Yeah, a friend told me it wasn't actually new, I'd just never seen it.

So, what about where Aradin kicks one of his people awake after they got hit with a sleep spell? Did I just miss that too?

Using shove to wake him up...

The cost of a bonus action to counter a spell that cost a spellslot + a full action.

Yeah, there are a few ways to wake somebody up. Using the Help action (a standard action) or attacking them, for example. Shoving them (a bonus action) counts as an attack and will wake them up, but do no damage.

They made the AI recognise this. So the AI will never take the Help action to wake their allies up, only Shove them, they've been programmed to make this more "action optimised" choice.
