I'm in the middle of designing my site, mostly reviews of games. If anyone would like to write a review of DD, I would gladly put it on my site (which won't be up for a while yet), and credit them with the review.
It's just a thought, I was on here, so I thought I'd ask. I'm doing quite a few at the momement, so I'll probably leave it until I've played BD, if I do it.
It need's to be honest, and impartial.

Sorry Impartial is imperfection. partial is not a whole. If you want to review then bias is the way to go. Many people do not understand D&D. Why? Cause they refuse or can't understand the rules. Let's take something simple. A sword causes 10 damage. object your hitting has 100 damage points. Therefor it takes 10 hits to get to zero. one does it die or must it be less than zero to die? D&D says less; zero you are still alive. (CPR anybody?) D&D is as close to 1% and 100% as oranges are to apples. Don't you love it when the coaches and announcers say "that player always gives 110% to the game" (?) HUH? Some of the games have a LUCK attrubute. If life and games didn't have fate, luck, or what ever you want to call it we would still be writing on papyrus. ( hint find out what the egyptian's called luck or the greeks. They borrowed it from them. ) Respectfully Syrholmes BTW: most rpg's are shoot em up style and some outragious if not foolish scenarios included as quests. I can think of one in baulder's gate.

AD&D is a little more advanced that you make out. There are different editions of the rules, and baldur's gate can be played without using "Core" rules. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a big fan of AD&D, but it makes for a great game.
Let's not pretend that the Divinity series is as good as the Baldur's gate series. Afterall, I just saw BD get 40 odd % in one mag. As much as I enjoyed DD; it was what Diablo II should have been, and not the same depth as BG's.
Anyway, I'm not here to argue games...Where's my review?

I think you have crossed wires, syrholmes. We're talking about DD, not D&D. (I think.)

Yep, DD is one of my favourites. I like the ability level in any direction (thief, warrior, wizard and so on), and the fact that it isn't in 3D.
The mags always compain when RPG's aren't in 3D, and I think DD looks as good as anything else, such as Neverwinter Nights. Although RPG's of this nature are migrating to 3D, I don't think it improves them any.
