There are some locked chests throughout Act 4. This is the way to solve the puzzle and it takes a lot of running around:

2) Wooden Chest (Academy Level 3) has Stone Key inside /
3) Stone Chest (Pipes level 2) has Silver Key inside /
4) Silver Chest (Academy level 2 sleeping quarters) has Gold Key inside /
5) Gold Chest (Academy level 4 - use teleporter) has Battlefield Key #5 inside. </span>

I totally missed this the first time through the game and wondered where that last Battlefield key was <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

so you *CAN* return to academy level 2 from academy level 3, contradicting what the 3rd summoning instructor tells you after completing the 3rd test.

This was one of the last things I did before going to the final battle and I had no trouble going to all levels in the Academy. I do remember being told that I would not be able to return to that level, but I sure did <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

well. I for 1 am glad he was WRONG. .:heh:.
