Its balancing elements that they haven't mastered. To much of anything is off-putting. Overly serious, too emo, too callous, ect.


Contrast, context and set up are all tactics that can make almost anything humorous.


We are now in a room with Hitler and his generals and tensions are high! Suddenly one of the Field Marshals involuntarily lets one rip.

Stunned silence, shocked fearful expressions and side-wards glances.


Hitler: Autsch! ...Edaurd, you can tell your wife with absolute certainty that if she doesn't improve her cooking I will have you shot!



The great thing is that feedback can make overly cheesy one liners disappear.

But lets face it, how much setup can you do in a spam-able skill...they will get old period.

Hope you know what happens with topic, wich even autor dont get seriously tho.

The entire concept of the spell is that it's an insult so offensive that it causes physical harm to the recipient. So you're honestly just reinforcing that the spell is accurate to its effects.

I personally think vicious mockery was really well done. I think you guys are taking yourselves a bit too seriously, especially on a spell that was made to be fun. I'm sure someone will make a mod to fix your issue with it, but I love what they did with it.

It seems to me that firebolt should be colder ...
