During the intro sequence, immediately after the first imp fight
Walk up the right side of the stairs after the healing pod to the outer area of the ship
Notice the Imp attacking the human on the left
Try to attack the imp with a bow before the cutscene happens
If triggered correctly, right as you go to attack the imp, the cutscene will engage and you will no longer be able to control your character.
(Killing them and reviving them does fix this issue)
