I’m playing with a guild artisan background for the first time and was surprised to get inspiration points for mending the Vision of the Absolute and making a Sussur Bark weapon, but not for putting together the three parts of the cold staff found on the drow mages in the Underdark.

I also feel like there should be some approval increase, even if small, when companions are inspired. I don’t think there is at the moment.

Has anyone else got examples of situations when it feels like inspiration points would make sense for a background but you don’t get any?

EDIT: Another place there’s no inspiration for a guild artisan when it feels there should be is when successfully finding out everything possible about Grymforge when talking to Stonemason Kith.
