So, when my elven wizard sailed to the Grymforge area on my first playthrough, I wanted to get her quest out of the way before finding Nere. Picked up the armor, got some dialogue from her and quest update, but when I reached what seems to be the end of the Dark Justiciars part of the complex (with the demons), nothing happens, no dialogue triggers no matter what I pick up (like a golden cherub mask).

Is this quest actually not possible to progress in the early access yet, or this is another of those annoying "you have find/do/say things in this excat order or your quest/attempt to romance a companion will fail" things Larian has yet to fix?

It's a quest outside of the Early Access content, so it's not possible to finish.

You have to go to the gate... Which isn't act 1

Hm, it is not in the game, but it could still be act 1 when they release the game. It seems like it would be a seamless transition between the forge docks and the sharran temple, according to what we can see now in the game.
