I really don't like EA games that i've seen so far. They look like low budget or average at best.
Shame! I would say you have missed out on some of the better titles in recent years.
Most EA games are independed production, though, that much is true - generally AAA can afford enough testing for EA to not have much value - they much prefer to sell unfinished live service "full releases" with promises to fix it later.
