Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Crashing while listening in after hotfix 31

While in a multiplayer campaign, game will crash for myself or 2 friends if we attempt to listen in on any conversation after hotfix #31 this morning.

Tried running game client as an administrator or loading previous saves but nothing seemed to fix it.

By design
"interact with nearby objects while" translates as you can't have them when you start listening in

Same problem since the last Hotfix.
I host the game, we a re 3 players.
5 crashes in 4 mins...

Same Problem.

After the patch it will crash every time when you create this condition.

Have more than 2 people in multiplayer.
Player 1 start a conversation.

Player 2, 3 or 4 clicks on conversation to observe it.

Remaining Players not in the conversation will immediately crash to desktop.

Can confirm. makes me sad. Am holding off on future multiplayer games until this gets fixed.

Bump! But I've also seen crashes when anyone in the group starts a conversation or interaction, not just with joining conversations

Can confirm the team is aware of this crash and are currently looking into it 👍

Ok the problem seems to be fixed but another appeared...
We can all liste thé conversation, but when i quit i have no hud on screen, no minimap, just game.
I must talk again to a npc to see all the hud and minimap appear again...
