We had to run up and down ladders two or three times just to reach the top.

Man, when I was young I saw the guy inventing ladders. First, he invented one to go up, and then one to go down again. It was GLORIOUS.

Fear my wrath, for it is great indeed.

Back in my day, we were forged in battle. We had to train ourselves against the githyanki patrol with nothing but four levels and a will to survive.

Back in my day you had to wait for the plague to stop, the Suez Canal to get unblocked, and Russia to threaten a World War just to play your favorite RPGs!

Luxury !

Back in my days, we would have called ourselves lucky if the ladders didn't break when we tried to use them.

We used to throw some of our party members up to the ledge if we could, and the other would use Misty Step or Badget teleportation.

Ropes ? What do you mean ropes ? Sure we found some, like everyone, but ours could not be used to climb up and down.

Back in my days, a certain vampire spawn refused to go near or cross any body of running water, claiming it would burn like acid. But I seriously doubt that this was ever the case, since he doesn't seem to mind even wading across a small river as of late.

Back in my day going to see a druid healer was a life-or-death risk. Nettie'd always come at you with a poisoned briar trying to kill you. Safer to just deal with the tadpole yourself, really.

DRAGON FIRE-AND DOOM Dragons? Splendid things, lad-so long as ye look upon them only in tapestries, or in the masks worn at revels, or from about three realms off...

Back in my day we played with only an isodimetric view, and liked it.

Minsc: Of course. Boo is special among his kind, and quite resilient. Have I mentioned he is a miniature giant space hamster? I'm sure I have.
