Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Any news on the first "large" patch release date?

I currently have my game on ice waiting for this one because of numerous bugs. Does anyone know if there is any indication when this thing will come out? I'm assuming before September at least.

They will certainly release something with the PS5 release. How large that is remains to be seen.

If I were to give a wild guess with PS5 Early access? Now Patch 2 remains a mystery.

Yeah, as the others have said, I think Larian will want the first major patch ready on time for the release of the PS5 if they can do it. Now obviously if it's not ready then it's not ready, can't force it. But definitely worth keeping an eye on this closer to the PS5 release.

Yep I just read somewhere that Larian stated they want to release patches for PS5 and PC together for 'parity'.

Pre download for PS5 is Sept 1st for launch on Sept 3rd so around then I guess.

I think releasing it at the end of the month would be a fairly reasonable guess.
