ok..here's some more questions to add to my never ending list. I tried to find some decent threads on them but i couldn't really and it's like 2:30 in the morning so i'll just make a post! Here goes, I'm pretty much 3/4 of the way done with Act 3 but there are some things that still trouble me. I managed to get the witch Cassandra to give me the potion for the talking tibor..one problem i can't FIND him again. And another thing...what to do with that red teleporter stone i got from the intelligent elemental i've tried hovering the thing around pretty much every teleporter i've come across and nothing and even talked to that guy who gave me the quest..Serrick was his name..i think (not good with names) any advice we be VERY appreciated <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

Oh yes! Something else i forgot. I've heard about a quest dealing with smelling lava for the raanaar librarians or something like that. But for some reason they pretty much don't talk to me like they want to give me a quest or something..i think it has something to do with the options i was first given when i met them about what i wanted them to believe i was. I think i just asked them about their race and i never got to choose one...did i make a mistake?! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

1. Talking tibar - a nasty character not really worth helping - should be a bit south and slightly east of where you start at the first teleporter (I'm going by memory - you can check the maps for exact location).

2. If one of the town females gives you the quest to steal a book from the Renaar, talking to the librarian gives you the quest to purify the lava. If not, you never get it.

3. The stone is put in the broken teleporter north of where you got it - in the area where you should be constantly and annoyingly teleported around until you get close enough to the broken teleporter to slap the stone in.

Ok i can answer the red gem question, the red gem you got from the elemental goes in the teleporter in that forest you got it in. You fix it so you dont teleport around anymore. As for the Ranaar quest about the smelly lava you have to go kill a couple of demons bathing in the lava. Hope this helps.

i think i know what your talking about for the teleporting stone...but everytime i even get close to it..i get teleported again...the only thing i could think of would to be quickly dropping a pyramid teleporter there to get there faster...it's kinda like in the middle of that forest, right? Why is the tibar a nasty fellow, he seemed ok until you find out he was basically harassing that poor woman...lol. Well i should only need ONE more quest to be second to #1 which i hear is pretty much your goal..so i only need 500 points at this point...so ANYTHING will do!

If you get back to where the talking elemental was, you can walk to the teleporter. That location has a lava vent just south of where you show up on being teleported (at the bottom of the screen at 1024x768), which periodically erupts with fire. Tossing a teleporter pyramid close does not help, you just get teleporter away immediately.

Well it took me about 2 hours of bouncing around that map, and I thought of, and tried the pyramid to, that dont work. Not only that I was with in a few steps of it many of times only to end up on the other side of the map <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/suspicion.gif" alt="" />

Anyway I cant say this will help, but I got out of there by way of Crystal Forest south because I was getting very pissed at this, and played around in the BF for a bit then came back and went in from the Ash Forest talked to the <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mage.gif" alt="" /> Serrick again and for some odd reason I got ported to the lost Raanarr when I left his place and then right below the Teleporter after talking to them again. I have no clue if this was luck or not, because I really dont wish to go back there again, this ranks up there as the worst quest so far to me.

That's how I got there as well, IIRC, walking north from the Raanaar.
