Hi,

i need a trick to kill the famous and infamous vampire in verdistis, the same who killed george.

I have found him but my light archer/mage haven't the time to shot/cast to him 'cause hi is too fast in attacking me.

Some ideas?

My level is 14 and my meterostrike level 4.
I could kill him with it but i can make a good distance from me and him.

Any way to block him?

Thanks

Raf

The best way to kill him is unleash a scorpion in there and let him deal with it.

I also have incounterd some very fast oponents but i keep on runing in circles and they soon drop there speed i think they have a stanima meter as well so give that a try.

I think u can try running away to a distance then press ctrl and just keep right clicking... dun think he is fast enuf for u... anyway, jus as a note, i killed the freak by freezing him and then meteoring him... one of my favourite tactics. Pity freeze has spirit resist limit... but it is good enuf a spell...

a frost weapon works good. i used a scorpion trap. (those buggers are good.) i would also suggest to level up a bit.

There are a lot more ways to kill him, than using the cheesy scorpions, or a frost weapons. . .

The thief Curse, can lower his resistance to spirit magic, fire, poison, and electricity. This opens up a bunch of options. You might have to cast it a few times, but it'll do it's job.

The thief blind spell, if it's of sufficient level, is quite effective.

If he runs too fast for you, you could always use the Wizard's, Limbs of Lead.

Heck, with the thief curse, you can do a ton of things to any enemy. Polymorph, freeze, poison, electrocute, barbecue, slow, blind . . just to name a few.

Think a little outside of the box, or in this case, the scorpion trap container.

EL

p.s. But, if you love the scorpions, to each there own. It's a GREAT idea, but they went a little overboard for my tastes.

Two words.

Level up.

I think I was much higher in level before I entered Verdistis, though admittedly I was trying very hard to complete every quest and square inch of the starting map before I left it to Verdistis or the Dark Forest.

O ya... if you happen to be in a hurry to beat him and dont have any skill points to spend, try drinking a shadow potion and then walk to a distance and cast ur meteorstrike... with lvl 4, it should be no problem

Only problem with that combo is as soon as you use meteor strike you become visable and he can see you again. if you really want him dead and your at a low level i say scorpion him it might sound cheesey to use scorpions for that but they equal out for being a low level.

I killed him whit deadly discs, he doesn't have much resitance againt them (I think it's spiritual), u must have enough healing potions(5 will sufice) and only drink them when paused (spacebar).

another cheesy method is Poison Skin (take at least 3 levels to make it cheesy. u can take it to level 5 for more cheese) which does quite considerable damage when u're being hit.

that's how i won the boxing match 'neath blue boar inn.

uuuhhh... I don't know, if it's about the same vampire, but:
I've just released the boy and sacrified myself. Now I have to kill that vampire. But how can I get throught the closed gate of the room he's in?

EDIT: don't bother - I've just found out One level on lizard warriors in the sewers under the market, upgrade lockpicking and I'm in
