I have over 200,000 gold coins and nowhere to spend it! I don't need armour or weapons either.. I guess I'll go spend it on the ladies in Verdistis...

Gold charms in the wastelands are worth 50,000. That and spell books were 95% of what I spent money on in the game, though I only used one charm (conspicuous consumption, or what ).

The only things I bought in stores were potions, spellbooks and charms. And the charms are idd very expensive.
I also used my money to repair/identify.

Yea I think that is a thing where the game screwed up a bit, there is no real use for money.
And in the first dungeon you can find all those expensive axes and sell them to buy the best armor available already... Good things should have been harder to get.
It should be like this:
You walk in a shop and you see this cool armor you want, but alas you only have half the money it costs and then you go and earn the money and it's so much more fun when you can finally afford it

Thing is, stealing is so easy. You know? Spider figurine + attack shopkeeper + shoplift to your heart's contents.
Shoplifting should've been harder to pull off.

Shoplifting should've been harder to pull off. Yea lol Like with George in the start. When he gives you the quest to get the plant, his shop is free to loot while he is standing in the other room. And then I just go sell him all the stuff I just took from him without him noticing his shop is empty. How stupid can he be?

LOL, that was one of me favorite things, robbing them blind and selling it right back to them. In the marketplace, I opened the door to the backroom of the blacksmith's and tossed my teleporter in there. Then teleported in later and cleaned him out. Then sold it all to him of course. I can just imagine it "Wow," he says. "This is just like my big ol' claymore I used to have over there."
