Hi There, me again..i couldnt find it out on my own <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

I cant open My main characters potions menu and the Dark knights potions menu at the same time..

During a battle as example i hit the "select all" button and open the "potions menu" and when my MAIN Character lose a lot of HP i hit one of my healing potions and this heal my character but when my Dark Knight get hit i always pause the game select my dark knight open his potions menu and heal him and right after this when my main character gets low on HP again i select my main character and hit the potions and this continues like hell!! is there a easier way to use healing potions without selecting single characters, open their potions menu and healing them one by one???

when i try to open the potions menus together one of another closes <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/question.gif" alt="" />

I'm afraid you can't open them at the same time, you have to switch if you want both of them to use a potion. Sleeping on the other hand works for both your characters, but that is not an option during battle.

I just pause a lot and mostly I only need the potions for 1 char since the enemies mostly attack only 1 of my chars.

what you also can do is hotkey the potions for 1 character end leave the 'menu' for the other one open <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

besides, as soon as you start needing the medium potions you migth wanna "un-hotkey" the minor potions <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

believe the game. Pause is your friend. I use it a lot for using potions and such. But most of the time only one of my characters is getting attacked and i just pause it. Use potions on that certain character.

I'm back for more of that Divinity madness. Yep, uh huh, uh huh.

You do not have to select the secondary character to open their potion bar and have them drink a potion.

When you assign a hotkey for a potion, it works for both char.
But only the player which potion bar was last selected, will drink a potion (that is when both are selected)
If you have only one selected only they will drink a potion.
Hopes this confuses you more <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/delight.gif" alt="" />

there IS a way to use three keys to accomplish this task...
if you assign each character to a key, let's say 'B' for Dk and 'N' for hero, you can also assign (let's say) medium health potions to the 'M' key.
this way you're switching between the characters and which-ever you have selected will be the one drinking the heal potion(s).
you could also assign the mousewheel (up and down) to this task...but i prefer it for zooming in and out. for that matter, even mousebutton 2 and 3 would work.
not sure if it's all worth it though...your decision.
sadly, assigning 'lead character' to (let's say) 'V' will only switch who is the leader, NOT who drinks the potions - so they must be assigned independently.
