Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Suggestions D2 in 3D suggestions

I was just wondering if it is possible to have a 3D rpg that is as open as DD was. One of the great assets of DD was what a wide open giant map there was to explore. From the 3D rpgs that I have played the maps all have specific paths that you have to take. You can't wonder around exploring very much. If it is possible I would love for DD2 to have as open a map as the original and still be in 3D.

Also in the 3D rpgs that I have played not very far away the background seems to just fade away into a greenish gray. It would be nice if DD2, like real life, would make things in the distance appear smaller and less detailed, but not just fade to gray like there is a perpetual fog that will never lift.

One final suggestion is to please make DD2 so that you can view the game from basically behind the character. If the best camera angle is still basically straight down you might as well just leave the game in 2D.

yes Runcc it is possible and it has been done try buying Morrowind it is even more linear than <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> and <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" /> plus the map is about twice as big and u can constantly download new mods to keep you playing for a long time the people that make mods are all very gifted and should very well be making there own games
