Could someone explain what good are unique items (weapons, armour etc.)? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill, because they pissed me off.

They're unique. Um. And usually better then other ones. They're more expensive too.

I found that the Unique items are not as good as the ones found at the merchants. Some items cannot be sold and take up room and weight in my inventory, so I just drop what I cannot sell.

Instead of just dumping the unique items that you cannot sell in your current act, if you bring the items with you to the next act, you can sell them there with no problem. It would be nice to sell them in the current act rather than waiting until the next act in order to sell them, though.
