Did you learn the survivor's Curse spell? That one is better than the mage's Withering Curse, since it can not be resisted. You can cast curse multiple times in a row, though the effect is not very long, so you can not delay too much before casting Polymorph (use hotkeys or pause the game). Level 1 of Curse should be sufficient.

Please, look into this link and scroll. I could curse and polymorph her at survivor curse lvl 2 and 5.

Are you a warrior? I don't know why, but I had a save from a Polish gamer and could not curse Josie with her warrior. My char was a mage.

You have to click on Josie several times to curse her, as this skill is cumulartive. The more you curse (by clicking) the more you lower her resistances to polymorph her.

I succeeded with survivor lvl 2 curse - do me a favour, please.
Would you pack your save with Winrar or Winzip and send it to
kiya1@t-online.de please?

If I can't curse your Josie, and if you are the 2nd warrior where I can't do this - I will have to think. I'm curious.
Kiya

You don't need to split your save after packing, I can take 10 MB at once.

Do you have one of these programs: Winzip or Winrar?

1. you need one of these programs, either Winzip or Winrar.
2. then go into programs/divine divinity/run/savegames/
3. search for the save you want to send and then right click if you have Windows XP. A pop-up menu will come and you have several options:
For Winrar => add to.... (name of your save comes and has the end ...rar)
4. left click then. The program Winrar will pack this save.

When it's done, you will have 5-6 MB. Then you can send me a mail. do you know how to send attachments?

3a. For Winzip => right click on the save you wish to send, and look at the pop up menu saying "Winzip". there is an arrow, if you follow this with your mouse, you see more more options. Choose "Add to ...zip" (... is the name of your save and has the ending zip).
4a. Left click then

Example: your save has the name "josie", ok? So, it will "josie.rar" or "josie.zip" then after packing.

And then simply send it to kiya1@t-online.de as an attachment.

here, you can download the older, free version of Winzip 8.1 (9.0 is a trial version, so you have to pay licence after a few weeks). Do you have MSN or icq? If so, we can exchange files via these programs. If not => send the mail and attachment to me after packing.

Which system do you have? Win98SE? Win XP?

Windows XP has basic zip functionality built in. In Windows Explorer, browse to the savegames folder, right click on the saved game subfolder, and select Send to | Compressed folder (or something similar). This will create a zip file of the same name as the subfolder in the savegames folder.

More functionality can be had in various freeware archive managers.

The INFOZIP compressor is - although command-line - vailable for a *huge* variety of systems ! Plus it is opensource. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
