Is there a way to make the summoning of that demon succeed?
I ran across the whole fuckin' country, got all those items, even joined the thieves guild just to get the book, and then the demon just kills everybody!
Is there a way to change the outcome?
Oh, one more thing, I went to that assasins-guild contact, and he sends 3 weak dudes and dissapears, is this supposed to happen? since my questlog isn't updated or anything....
Oh, one more thing <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
I confronted Elrath (or whatever that old healer guy was called) and got him arrested, but the plague is still alive 'n kicking, and I can't even get into the contaminated area, is there something else I must do to stop the plague?
questions questions questions...pfff...oh well...

You need the talking tree branch from the Dark Forest, not the one from Mpenzak. If you notice during the ceremony, the fake branch is the only item not to be removed from the pentagram.
When the head of the assassin guild disappeared, he was standing by a cupboard, that had been locked previously...
There is a house crossing the western wall of the quarantine area. I think the back door can be lockpicked, or Lain (IIRC) in the poor quarters has the key (the guy who suggests you join the thieves' guild). Did you find the cure potions in Elrath's cellar before having him arrested?

hmmm, luckely I saved before summoning, I'll try it with the right treebranch. Hmm, no I couldn't find any heal potions, maybe I'll have another look (if possible).

I only got 2 potions, and there are 3 people, is there any way to get another one? (without cheating)?

Yes and no - if you have level 2 in pickpocketing you can steal back one potion from one of the healed ones, and give it to the third. That's not exactly cheating, though somehow defeats the purpose.

You can also kill one of the cured people to get a potion back, with no reputation drop. The quest was originally designed to make you choose which ones lived and which died (or at least, remained sick).

I don't know how you guys do it Playing the game more than once, in more than one variation and having a decently developped memory helps a little! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> Reading this forum helps a lot! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shhh.gif" alt="" />
