I just realized that I posted on the BD forums and got answered but then I realized that that files are winRAR files on my computer and not .wav files. My question to everyone is where the heck or how do I rip the music from the game? I am trying to access it but I can't get into it without some sort of decoding program. Another option I've nearly exhausted is looking on Google for the files but I can't find anywhere to download them. I need this music for nunchaku and escrima practice, great emotional tension! SOMEONE HELP ME!!!! lol. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

All the music in the game, in ogg format;

Divine Divinity Music Extractor by BrainBox.

downloadable mp3s;

Divine Divinity music

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Larian Studios!

In BD the music is in separate ogg files, so there is no need for an extraction program, just an audio player such as Zinf or Winamp.

I wonder if one could export the music from DD and import it into BD?

Some of the music from DD is already in BD. The BD music is in separate ogg files in the '..\Beyond Divinity\Wav\music' folder. You can replace those files with other ogg files, renamed to any of the existing file names. You can also change which file is played where, by swapping file names.

Kirill Pokrovsky did the music for both games, so you would probably like it as well. There are a couple samples of the new music on the page for the Beyond Divinity Audio CD, and 3 tracks are included in the demo (don't recall if they were all new, but I think so).

I visited Kirill's site yesterday, it's been updated and there are many songs i did not get the first time.....
for instance i didn't know there was over 30 different songs in the <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> game!!
Now i've got 'em all for my listening pleasure,
along with some other fine samples of his work....
in total over 315MB of delicious <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> music ,
for those long nights of stripping.....

(wallpaper that is) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

ps.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/exclamation.gif" alt="" />
i actually missed the music so much,
i thought about re- installing <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> and giving 'er another go! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />
it wouldn't hurt my feelings a bit! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

sorry , <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> had to post my same reply here as well! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

Indeed! Although, in all fairness, it must be said that the music in Morrowind is also top notch!

It is but there is only 8 explore songs and 8 combat songs... now exploring an entire continent listening ot the same 16 songs gets repititve, FAST. in DD there is 35 songs!and DD is muc much smaller then Morrowind. (Not that, that would make it any less of a game.... Ok it does.... but still... I lve them both)

Yeah, me too. I love the music of both games, but still, it's obvious who is the winner. The Divine Divinity soundtrack is just too good to be true. I hope DD2 will have similar oh so beautiful music.

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> Cool! Walking through the Grazelands to the tunes of 'A wind of Aleroth' must be so sweet! You're going to have to tell me how you did that <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
