All the guards want to kill me!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" /> I think it's because I tried to rob one of them whilst just messing about. I didn't think anything of it at the time but I can't complete the Tingalf/Merchant quest now as Lt Robin just wants to cave my head in!

How long does it take for the attitude to go back to normal ?? Does it even go back down or will they all stay hostile towards me ??

Is it possible to change the value of the guards attitude to me via hex editing or something like that??

ok cool ... but do you know how much more rep I need

I had 16 when it happened ... I now have 18.

So any ideas how much more rep you need to get for them to turn back to neutral.

Shouldn't be too much of a problem I guess as I am going off doing other quests now in the dark forest.

this happened to me too. but it was because i used exploding arrows and they hit the guards and killed one so they all turned hostile. so i just reloaded and didn't use exploding arrows.

well... Put your pointer over a guard and see their dispostion rating. And consider that each Reputation point you gain will raise their dispostion by 1. so if they have a disp of -100 you will need like 25 reuptaion points gained to make them get to -75 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

so is 75 the limit that move from being hostile ??

The guards are on 78 at the moment ??

I think at -75 they will be labeled as hostile but wont attack you, Im not certain but I think -75 Would be good enough

Just a little upset that you think Kiya and ignored me... NOw the Flame Byblos will begin. (It sucks to have feelings)

It was gkh you were helping, though, not Macbeth (I don't pay much attention to the avatar column either). AFAIK Macbeth hasn't ticked off any guards, so the reputation limit of when they attack probably wasn't of great concern.
