this is an easy way to get some weapons in the start of the game.

first go to georges shop(near the town gate) and watch the cutscene with the man with the nice hat then ask him to get the herbs and see the dudre...dradru..well something that way! but then when he leaved into the other room be quick and get all the lovely weapons including the giant sword wich you unfortunately cant use untill a high level

You can also raid Lanilor's house while he's frozen. There's usually some alright stuff there.

If you want to steal stuff without getting the NPG's pissed at you, carry around a chest in your inventory. When you see something you want from a cabinet or chest or something, and the NPG is in the room, open the cabinet or chest, then open the chest in your inventory and move the goods from the open cabinet/chest into the open chest in your inventory. The NPG still thinks the goods are where they're supposed to be and are none the wiser. When you are in some place where you can't be observed, move the chest with the stolen goods in it from your inventory to the ground, open the chest and click on the stolen goods to move them into your inventory - Voila!

A good sword in the beginning is brightblade. You have to kill seth to get it. This is not exactly easy, but freeze and a poison weapon does help and potions.regards.

I did that and became lvl 138... The game wasn't exactly fun after that .

Sounds like you hit a bug with an experience bomb.

Seth can be killed easily with Poison Cloud. It takes awhile, but he does not turn hostile and attack if you do not cast it directly on him (also that way your reputation does not drop).

AND I had used the carractereditor to make my char Übergood in order to see what a high level fighter was like.
