I was in Canada at my condo this weekend. Me and my friend spent 250 on Cuban Cigars!

Actually, I'm quite worried about our Greek fanbase - there have been terrible fires in Greek ! With lots of injured and killed people !
It's a national tragedy there, and will most likely affect the whole climate of whole Greek because of the many woods that were burned there.

That's why I posted this here.

The last short report from her is several months away.

Gal, not sure if that's such a good idea to drop the bomb on her like that via e-mail. i know she would appreciate it but i do hope that she would learn of it here when she's ready to come back to visit us here.

i wouldn't want Luc to worry & feel sad unnecessarily.

of course, i may be wrong but it's really up to u, Gal. i know u mean well 'cos u always think of the good of everyone around u.

That would fit to her.

@Gal, she'll learn it at least here, when she drops in one day.

I just hope she isn't affected by the fires right now.

You're maybe right, but from my point of view, I would rather get a personal message then read it here. This way I'm the one adressed and it's closer.
But if you guys think it's better if she reads it here, then I wont send her a pm.

Of course a PM is better in my opinion, but on the cother way if she's on a concert or so, enjoying life, she may be spoiled ... I leave this decision up to you.

More spoiled if she discovers it randomly...

I think a PM is a good idea. It shows we care about her enough to tell her personally, rather than just let her find out for herself. Which I think it's safe to say we do

You're pretty much 'designated representative' in this, Gal, so... I think you writing a PM would be a good plan

PM is a great idea. it is more personal & also the best way to convey what happened. but not e-mail cos as of now, i don't think she's ready to come back here yet. like what Al said, she may be out there enjoying life so best not to ruin her days.

u make the call, Gal. we believe u will make the right one. u have our trust!

Ok, pm it is then, wish me luck, I hope I don't break her heart. Not in a love way of course, but like mine was broken when I found out.

What's this!? Our dearly beloved President is urging disorderly conduct? How very delightful!

@ Rincewind
Yep it was a great idea to make some mess in the forum but someone did not understand the joke and put the forum completely out of order for a very long time.

It became here very lonely. That is very unfortunate.

I remember of the many contributions to threads. And now the English forum seems abandoned. Where are you?

I know that I write comments in the English part very rarely, but I miss your post's.

Apology for my interference.

@ bigclaw6
I agree with you the english forum seems abandoned and it's sad.
But it's always a great joy to read posts from the german members in this section.

A lot of german members can speak english (or french) but they don't write posts in the english section because they think that their english is not good enough.
When the forum was out of order i moved in a german forum and i talked in english with nice german people who only write posts in the german section of the Larian boards.
I love the german people.

@ Gal and Janggut
A few weeks ago i had the same idea about sending a mail to the old forum members who were Mea's good friends.
I talked about it with a forum member and we both thought it was better to wait before telling them this bad news.
Luc loved MeaCulpa very much and i guess she will be extremely shocked learning what happened to him.
But what it's done is done.

@ Barta -> u're BACK!!

yeah Luc does love Mea a lot. that is why i prefer to wait for her to come back to learn of this. i wish there is a better way but this is all i can think of.

i miss Luc.

Hi, guys

Just a quick word to pass on news from janggut, as per request; he wanted to let you know that his uncle who was ill (bitten by something and it degenerated) passed away last Wednesday, in peace and well surrounded by his family. Also that he (janggut) currently doesn't have as much access to come online, as his job where he used to have it ended last week; right now he's still teaching at the other place where he began not so long ago, and he's searching for a new job beside to replace the old one. He says that things are kinda crazy these days, but that he's blessed with good people around who support him in many ways.
He seems to go fine despite the losses, in any case, and hopefully he'll be back soon though he can't say when or how yet.

...As for me, I vanished and am silent beside playing the messenger lastly, but I'm not far around. I hope you're going fine around here too.

hey to all the people that i love!!

i'm back though i can't be online most of the time as before. i just lost my old job last month & lost an uncle about the same time with my previous bosses paid me pittance for compensation. yeah i'm seeking legal advice.

anyway, i'm doing alright at the same time as i still have my part-time work with me. i have a rent-free place to stay in town & a car to drive so what to complain about? i'm happy!

i hope to be able to be online more here when i can. currently i can only be online in the weekends. my part-time work has no net connection.

till then, take care & have fun. GOD BLESS!!
