This is slightly <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/offtopic.gif" alt="" /> and shouldn't be needed for any of the Larian games, but if you have older games that don't work on your Newer WinOS there is a Windows Application Compatibility Toolkit you can download from Microsoft here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/appcompatibility/toolkit.mspx

Keep in mind this Toolkit is quite involved and you may not understand a lot of it, but don't let it overwhelm you. Play with it to understand it.
