I’ve been watching the Star Wars Clone Wars cartoon series as of late
and I must say, although the cartooning is a bit dated,
its style reminds me of the old Hercules cartoon series of the 60’s,
but the story is just absolutely fantastic!

Job well done in my book.

Weel, I must say in my two weeks away from the forum, I sure did see a lot of movies.
While you were sleeping (Sandra Bullock and Bill Pullman)
Catwoman (Halle Berry)
Cold Mountain (Jude Law, Renee Zellweger and Nicole Kidman)
The LOTR (I've finished the first two and starting tomorrow the thirth one) (do I need to tell who starred in that??)
Finding Nemo (Nemo, Marlin and Dory )
Bits and pieces of the "Passion Of Christ", at school on good friday, but most teenagers (around ages of 16,17) throw up and I had to clean the mess, yuk!!
White chicks
The diary of Ellen Rimbauer (Stephen King, about the haunted house 'The Rose Red')
That's about it I guess...

Well, I finally got to see Bridget Jones; The Edge Of Reason.
I had lots of fun with it. She reminds me soo much of me, I can act really blond somethimes. (I loooove Renee Zellweger)
The next one I saw wasn't that funny at all. It was an Italian film called Io non o paura (I'm not scared) Very good and also very sad. I felt soo sorry for that little boy.

I'm ok now, thanks for asking

I've finally gotten around to watching Hellboy. Had the DVD for over a month before bothering to watch it.

I had my reservations but it was quite entertaining...There's something I've always liked about a cosmic horror or god that could be summoned to destroy everything...ala lovecraft.

This should make you very happy to know that
Antonio Banderas is working on a sequel to ZORRO.

It should either be out around October or more
information about it will be out around October.

Last night I watched on TCM a great (1959)
spanish movie subtitled in English called "Nazarin".
Man was that a great movie.

Nazarin tells the story of Father Nazario (Francisco Rabal), a solemn, devout priest living amongst the poor in a turn-of-the-century rural Mexican village. The example he sets for the thieves, prostitutes, and beggars around his slum dwelling goes unappreciated at best; at every turn Nazario is mocked and taken advantage of. He remains gentle, though sanctimonious, in his efforts to live the lessons of Christ. Nazario befriends a suicidal girl, Beatriz (Marga Lopez), and takes in a streetwalker named Andara (Rita Macedo) who is wounded and bleeding after a knife fight in which she killed another prostitute. Church leaders defrock the priest after questioning him about the women, so he heads out on a pilgrimage to the countryside. The women follow as would-be disciples (or is it lovers?), and in his travels, Father Nazario continually finds that the pure Christianity he presents to his fellow man is both ineffectual and annoying.

Yesterday I finally saw "Signs", the movie everyone said it was boring. Well, this was a better movie then "The Village". Allthough that movie wasn't bad, they shouldn't have taken the thrill out of it right away.
But in Signs I sat on the edge of my chair.
And the day before that i watched "Raising Helen". Funny comedy and guys, Kate Hudson really looks like a blond J-Lo!!

I've finally managed to watch Secret Window.
Most people said that they didn't like it, but thats because they didn't understand it, I think.
Personally, I thought that it had a nice twist, and a good story. The novelet had a different ending though. It was well made, and the fact that Johnny Depp just had to be a bit funny, was good too .

Add to that Electra (good but strange), The Incredibles (Disney is getting funner for all ages), and White Chicks (great, funny, gotta love the fact that noone notices the manliness of the disguised Waynes Bros.).

Killerzzz

I just saw the new War of the Worlds film.

I had my reservations about it at first but it turned out to be very good, despite the usual spielberg sentimentality scenes.

Also very hard to think of tom cruise as your average joe soap...but hey, the effects were amazing.

Haha, verry funny Killerzzz.

Ok, really I'm glad to hear you liked it because I was scared they were going to mess up a good story. I'm hoping to see it soon and now I am reassured that I will enjoy it .

Well it's a different story really...aliens aren't from Mars...story is about one guy and his kids...but it's good on its own merits.

Very loosely based on HG Wells original story...in the same way that any other alien invasion movie could be said to be very loosely based on it...

I.E. aliens attack earth...

Mullholean Drive (or something like that) by David Lynch. It was pretty weird, and I sure do not understand it all. The story is pretty complicated so I think I'll see it again sometime.
