I used my $25 Gift Card a friend gave me for X-Mas @ GameStop today. I found myself a copy, finally, of The Divinities: yup, both DD and BD. Yup, I found the rare Beyond Divinity edition that comes packaged w/ the original, Divine Divinity -- and of course, it was $30, so had to throw in the extra $5 or so (then tax). Mad cool.

I look forward to installing both of these Divinity games, once I finish a few games and/or buy a new PC -- whatever comes first!!!

I like that "Off Topic" emoticon.
They need a emoticon w/ a sign so that if you go back "On Topic", therer is one for you to click on to use. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I hope I'll enjoy them, too! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I love your avatar! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Did you make that?
Or is that portrait from some game?
Or what?

And for games that allow you to import custom portraits (like BG games, NWN, Arcanum), do you import that avatar as your custom portrait for your character? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Hi MysterD

For not being off-topic in this thread, i answered to your questions about my new ava in this topic :
My new pic

In Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity, we can't import our own portrait in the game.
But there are several different portraits created by Marian (and they look nice !).
The portrait is linked to the choices we made at the beginning of the game when we customized our char.
It is possible to choose between male, female and child.
There are different colours of hair.
There are different hairstyles.
There are different facial features.
There are different stoutness.

For exemple, this is my own char : a female with long red hair and a normal stoutness.
Don't look at the dialogs it was a joke for the "Friends topic" in the chat section ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

MArian? Do you mean Larian?

Interesting.

I wish the game also supported the option to chuck in custom portraits, like say NWN, BG, and other RPG's.

No, Marian is one of the head art designers for Larian Studios and created most or many of the avatar's in both games.
