No not only Raze ! I guess Lar, Drealmer, Forktong, Shrimpo or Rat also know about "this editor" ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

[color:"yellow"] I would really like that Divinity 2 could have an editor for creating maps, dungeons and quests. [/color]

DD² SDK

Already made a suggestion of it. Now Morowind had an SDK and used Gamebryo so I guess larian could also put together an SDK . But Remember that since it's 3D it will be a bit harder to create a map. (Do I hear battlefield generation as template to start making maps?)

But remember putting a SDK together cost resources and Larian might not have those resources or time to do it. (Maybe if the game is released bugless, and they have to much time on theire hands because of the supprise that there are no bugs.) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />

Well <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/div.gif" alt="" /> had code in it for multiplayer. So I imagin there is a bit of "junk code" that snuck in.

It's like a card house. It stands but it has cards to much. Do you want to take a card out and risk it all comming down? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

Ofcourse there is an editor. The Larians used it to create the game. It is however not available for anybody else because as I understood it, it doesn't have a status that would allow doing that.

Completely wrong. Myrthos means that it is so complicated that no-one could work with it. Someone has explained it once, a long time ago.

This does not mean it uses or doesn't use licensed material - we simply don't know.

All I know - the public knows - is that it was never published because it was too heavy and complex.

I was just reading about a game coming out with the gamebryo engine " gamebryo engine supports pixel and vertex shading, dynamic shadows and lighting, a variety of particle animations, and frame buffer effects, yet [ features ] have been implemented so subtyl that most people watching... didn't even notice them"

Sounds gooood, so maybe there will be an editor.

That's the same reason Gothic I never had a Mod-Kit released, from what I've heard.
(Though Gothic II got a release of a SDK/Mod-Kit, in German).

I think I remember that. It was in the demo days or so, someone noticed it, and then Lynn or Lar explained that it was an editor that was too complicated to use, and so they decided not to use it.

I guess you should have to send a PM directly to Lynn for explaining her your problem.

No problem.

MysterD, there is a Gothic I Mod Kit.

In the World of Gothic Thread, i had opened, can you find the Links for it.

And you can find some Mods at the World of Gothic Homepage for Gothic I.
The best one is still Diccuric.
A huge new World with new Chars ans new Story.
The newest is the Mod "MiniMod" in this Mod will Cord (in the new Camp) give you some new Tasks to solve.

Or you can find some stuff only for playing, like the "Blade Mod", this Mod will only change the Hero into the Vamyr Blade, and you get his Sword.
Or a Mod who will give you a blue Sky like Gothic II, but i don`t like it.

Heed his words ! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> Stone is the one who most regularly updates our german-language Gothic thread. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> No-one has posted more links to MODs than he did. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

That's really interesting that Gothic I had a modkit.
Did the dev's make it?
Or is that someone a modder made?
