Well, I know there's allready threads about this, but I was thinking this could be the official thread for the actuall game, who now has left beta-stage (that's why I consider that thread to be a little inapropriate, so to speak. The other thread has the not very obvious name: "For you who never played MMORPG's for the monthy fee" (take and add a few words)).

It's out. At least here in Sweden. When my brother said they called and said they had copies in, the first thing I did was recharge my wallet and took the next bus downtown. Now, oe hour later I am a proud owner of Guildwars (and allso a nice looking mouse pad, who quickly exchanged my old, plain blue one <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />). The servers still starts at Thirsday, the 28:th April 2005 though (I think).

Now let's discuss character creation <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />!

It's out world wide, I'm going to buy it this instant. Me and my brother will probably do all the missions on our own, like we did in the beta weekends. So we'll create the most PvE friendly characters. We'll then take all the time we need to unlock pretty much anything we need for our best PvP builds.

Also, those who pre-ordered get to play the 27th <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> and it's mouse pad I think, Ube.

Yep I love the box and everything that's in it. Really awesome. Gaile Gray once said the manual was great but I wasn't expecting this wonderful book <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Read throught part 1 of the manual today, will read some of part two before I go to bed.

The only thing with the package was the opening, which was a little difficult. And the box isn't of much use anymore <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />. And I allways thought it would be white, with a warrior/angel on the front...

And about those characters <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />...

The white box with the hovering elementalist is the Pre-order box.

I feel so bad I don't have it yet, oh well. I can play it at midnight tonight. I'll be getting the box on Thursday.

Actually Death, the servers will be open at 12:01 am pst, so it's 3 am for us.

Yeah, I noticed that it was Pacific Time but decided not to post this: nobody wants to be dissapointed.

I have received this pre-order box several days ago, but, I think this package enables you to participate in betas only. Am I right?

I am expecting the game box anytime soon, and I am affraid it will happend much later then on 28th. That was my first and last order online.

And about the box itself, it would be nice to have a good container to keep my books/cd's in, and this box is pretty useless when it comes to that.

Anyone who have any good startertips (you can spare me the use the wsda for stareing instead of the arrowkeys, but things I should normally discover at lvl 5 (like how smart it is to do a sertain thing before that point that I didn't do) COULD prove quite usefull)? And I'm planning to read about character creation now (and after I come back from my pianolesson), so general tips there could prove usefull too. But, please, spare me the yelling because I'm a pain in the you-know-what <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />.

PS I'm trying to change my email adress, since I'm on my schoolmailadress. The adress I'm trying to change to is my gmailkadess, which is allready used, so I'm trying to change THAT one to my hotmailadress. Which I can't, since it's allready in use, which it isn't, since the change from my gollemail to my hotmail didn't work as it should. Annoying, isn't it? DS

Just figured out that pst meanst they're 9 hour AFTER us, so it will start 9 am tomorrow, and not 15 pm today. I allso know that I wished it should be some kind of american time. Conclution: Be carefull of what you wish...

I started playing this Thirsday. I'm a lvl 7 ranger, and thing the game is slow in general (for the moment). Think I've made most quests (have NO general quests, which is kind of strange) in the beginning, and are kind of clueless on what to do for the moment. Whant new skills, getting kind of tired of the old ones...

One character is level 12, in Lions Arch.

The other is Level 5 or 6, and doing every quest in Pre-Sear Ascalon.

2 others haven't played with, but resereved names.

I was able to install and enter the game using my preorder box and key.

Created some warrior, looked at the world and it seemed to be very nice - that water is just unbeatable by any other game <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Will log in more later, now addicted to WoW.

As for character build I would make warrior / monk or warrior / necro, I guess.

Bought this fantastic game yesterday after reaching the end of my D2 tether.

Anyone wants to play with me I'll be around. I've no idea how to whisper ingame or contact people though. You just use character names?

Also forgotten the name of my character ATM. I'll get back to y'all on that. lvl 4 warrior/ranger. Think I prefer the ranger bit to be honest. May restart.
